Google Lively A new virtual world
Google has launched a new 3D virtual world called Google Lively, similar to Linden Labs' Second Life and Sony's planned 'Home' service for PlayStation 3, in which users create avatars for themselves and interact virtually.
Users can create their own 3D "rooms," and deck them out with furniture and other accoutrements, in addition to being able to add themed music to complete your personalized virtual space in Google Lively.
Users will be able to visit others' rooms, leave items for other Google Lively netizens as well as being able to stream photos and video

From the makers of CCleaner. Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!

aMSN 0.97.1
aMSN is a free open source MSN Messenger clone, that runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Its main objective is to assist users who are new to the GNU/Linux operating system keep in contact with those who use the Microsoft program which is available only on Windows and Macintosh. To achieve this objective, aMSN attempts to emulate the look and feel of MSN Messenger, and supports many of its features.
aMSN has features not present in MSN Messenger. Users can set alarms, are able to see others who have removed them from their contact list, and are able to open many profiles at once. It is also very customizable, with extensions and themes available at the main site. aMSN also allows functions not available in the Macintosh version of MSN Messenger, such as webcam support, and the "nudge" feature.

aMSN 0.97.1 is a bugfix release.
No major feature was added, but many bug fixes were made to make this release as stable as possible (Refer to the changelog for list of all fixes done).
This release also fixes a major critical bug caused by a recent change in the protocol of the MSN servers that prevents all previous releases from connecting to the server.
