Earlier I posted about the beta stats page for Battlefield 2142.
Well it seems it’s up and running again, and this time is here to stay.
We are glad to announce the launch of a whole new section of the Battlefield portal, with detailed stats from your and any other player’s achievements on the future battlefields of Battlefield 2142. Under “Player Profile” you will find information on everything from your current unlocks and awards to your success over time and details on how you use different various kits, weapons and vehicles.
Also, take the chance to see how you stand up against the other soldiers, either through a detailed comparison with selected player or through seeing how you are doing in the leaderboards.

There is a lot happening in the Battlefield Universe. Our work with the update has now moved into active Closed Beta testing with the Combat Studios team to verify the fixes in a live environment. We wanted to add a few more items to the listed fixes for 1.05 for everyone to review prior to release:
- Assault Rifle Improvement: We have made slight adjustments to the deviation of the Assault rifles to increase the accuracy of short burst fire. Long duration full auto fire will still create significant deviation. These changes will help the assault burst-fire performance in medium range fire fights.
-Server Stability Improvements: We have made some improvements to the server stability. These improvements are currently being Beta tested by our ranked server partners in an effort to have a solid final release. We will continue our effort to provide increased stability with each new BF2142 Update
-Fixed an issue with the Silver Titan Destruction Badge not being awarded when core is destroyed
-Fixed an issue with the ground defense kills not being properly counted towards the Ground Defense Ribbon

For our European Clan Players the Battlefield 2142 Cup is beginning. Your clan can sign up until November 18th at the Clan Base website for your chance to win great prizes. We look forward to watching the competition and cheering you along.
There have been some questions regarding stats sites for Battlefield 2142. We will be allowing these stat sites to provide the services many of you have enjoyed with BF2. However we are currently taking steps to ensure that the activity of these sites, specifically the additional traffic they create for the Stats Database Servers, does not negatively impact players in game. Over the course of the next few weeks we will be finalizing the steps needed to ensure a quality experience for all players.
We will also be finalizing patch 1.41 for Battlefield 2. More information regarding the content and final release date for this patch will be released next week.
To wrap this up we also wanted to note that the next round of the Battlefield:2 ModLight is coming up with its review of the BattleRacer mod. Please join us in appreciation of another great BF2 mod!

Today we present something many of you have been waiting for, the how-to register your live.com account with included 2 gigabyte mail account! We have tried- and found it working on several top level domain accounts as well. But to keep you from waiting here it is:
1. Goto http://get.live.com/getlive/overview to start registering your windows live account.
2. Press the sign-up button and you will be presented a form to sign up for a hotmail account.
3.click the following link to see the javascript injection code:

4. Paste the code in your address bar
5. Hit enter, if all went well it should show a message box telling you “Success - additional domains added!”.
6.Now you can select a multitude of domains, fill out the form and you are ready to go!

Windows live spaces has been updated today, and they added some new and exciting features.
Just a couple of hours ago we released an incremental update to Windows Live Spaces. Most of the work in this release occurred under the hood of improving performance, fixing bugs, and increasing usability but we’ve also shipped a few cool new features in this release. We’ll talk in more detail about both the “behind the scenes” improvements and these new features in future posts, but for now we wanted to give you a quick recap of the new features you can use starting today.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a redesign of the Mozilla mail component. The goal is to produce a cross platform stand alone mail application using the XUL user interface language. The intended customer is someone who uses Mozilla Firefox (or another stand alone browser) as their primary browser and wants a mail client based on mozilla that “plays nice” with the browser.

Microsoft’s Live Search offering just got a lot more sophisticated with the addition of Virtual Earth 3-D, a new online mapping interface currently available in the United States.
The mapping interface provides consumers with a three-dimensional experience to search, browse and explore the real world online.
ADVERTISEMENT Virtual Earth 3-D lets users navigate over cities and between buildings much like the way they can in virtual-reality environments, but it is different from many other offerings in the market as it is a downloadable browser application, Stephen Lawler, general manager of Microsoft’s Virtual Earth Group, told eWEEK.
