Yesterday the anticipated demo of Crysis was released. The media coverage has been huge ever since
and I don’t think there is a gaming website that hasn’t reviewed it yet.
I decided to download the demo, and see what all the fuss was about.
The demo is 1.77 GB, which ain’t unusual these days.
The games is based on the new engine by crytek, also know as CryENGINE 2.
CryENGINE 2 engine delivers the most realistic environments, spectacular
special effects, physics game engine, lighting system, and enemy Al.
I put together a small video of when I played the crysis demo, this will demonstrate the
awesomeness of the CryENGINE 2.
This game could in my opinion easily be the best game of the year.
Crysis is slated to be released on November 16th 2007 and will be available on PC.
