Mozilla Firefox 3.0 RC 3
Mozilla developers decided today to spin a third Firefox 3 release candidate to ensure the next major update will meet users’ stability expectations.
This time, the showstopper was identified and reported last week on Mac OS X versions of Firefox 3 RC 2. The bug causes Firefox to hangwhen loading the plugin database in some special conditions on Mac OS X 10.5.3, the latest Mac OS X update released on May 28. I was unlucky enough to hit it so I, for one, appreciate the attention to this bug that is also present in Firefox 2.0.0.14.
The bug has been fixed and is already available in the latest RC3 builds. Windows and Linux users will get the exact same RC 2 build.
Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 is available in more than 45 languages as a public preview release intended for developer testing and community feedback.

FileZilla 3.0.11 RC 1
FileZilla is powerful Open Source FTP/SFTP client with many features. It includes a site manager to store all your connection details and logins as well as an Explorer style interface that shows the local and remote folders and can be customized independently. The program offers support for firewalls and proxy connections as well as SSL and Kerberos GSS security. Additional features include keep alive, auto ascii/binary transfer, download queue, manual transfers, raw FTP commands and more.

+ File list status bars showing number of (selected) files and directories along with total filesize
+ MSW: Installer improvements. The installer now remembers the installation options.
+ The update wizard now shows a list of changes in the new version
- Fix sorting issues of file lists
- Reduce CPU load if deleting or uploading many files
- MSW: Prefix search in file lists did not work with all characters
- OS X: SFTP didn't work if full bundle path contained spaces
- OS X: Fix odd dialog sizes

Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 is available in more than 45 languages as a public preview release intended for developer testing and community feedback. There is no word about whats new in RC2, but once the release notes are out, I'll update this post.
